Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Polar is a beautiful 3-year old female Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on November 2, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Bear Run Road in the Reno Ohio area. Polar was accompanied by Grizzly (a large male Bernese Mountain Dog). Neither Polar nor Grizzly were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.
This little dollbaby has a snow white coat with a patch of black on the back of her neck and at the base of her long white tail. Polar has an adorable symmetrically-marked black/white face with tan eyebrows, a slender muzzle, and short 'folded-over' ears.
These photos of Polar were taken late in the afternoon on November 5th when HSOV Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton spent time with Polar during her photo session and showered her with loving attention. Polar is such a sweetheart .. This little dollbaby is quite the charmer and chose to 'sit pretty' in most of her glamour photos.
Polar weighs 41.8 lbs.
Note: It turned out that Polar and Grizzly were not from the same household. Grizzly was reclaimed on November 5th.
Since Polar was not reclaimed, she is available for foster- or adoption with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application. Polar will be spayed before being officially adopted.
Polar went home with a foster family on December 7, 2025 so that she could enjoy a nice home environment instead of a shelter floor crate. Polar is still available for adoption. If you would like to meet this sweet girl in person, please complete an HSOV adoption application for approval so that we may arrange a meet-and-greet with her foster family.
Update: Polar was reunited with her original family and went back home on December 9, 2025. Polar's real name is Mila Rose.
