Alfredo’s story is one of the hardest, and one of the most inspiring, to ever come through our doors.
Rescued at just 5 days old from the Pasta Party home, Alfredo was critically ill, severely underweight, and battling a life-threatening case of toxoplasmosis. Most kittens with infections this advanced don’t survive… but Alfredo isn’t “most kittens.”
He is a miracle.
Toxoplasmosis left Alfredo visually impaired and caused neurological complications, including seizures. While treatment saved his life, he will need daily medication, monitoring, and a home willing to support him as he continues to heal.
He can see shapes and contrast but struggles with detail and depth, and he’s still learning how his little paws fit into a big world.
But here’s the beautiful part:
Alfredo doesn’t know he’s different.
He plays, explores, snuggles, and greets every new day with fearless curiosity.
What Alfredo does know is how deeply he loves people.
This sweet boy is incredibly dependent on human comfort. He seeks out warmth, reassurance, and physical closeness. He is happiest when someone is home, someone is near, someone is loving him. Alfredo is a giant snuggler, and being held or cuddled is how he feels safest.
He has already survived more than any kitten ever should, and he did it because humans showed up for him — especially his foster mom, who continues to be his anchor, advocate, and safe place while he learns how to navigate life.
Alfredo will need:
• A home where someone is present often
• A willingness to administer daily medications
• A safe, predictable environment
• Gentle understanding as he continues to grow, adapt, and learn
In return, Alfredo will give you every ounce of love in his tiny body.
He will curl into your arms, purr into your chest, and remind you daily what resilience looks like.
If you’re searching for a cat who will bond deeply, love endlessly, and show you what it means to fight for joy… Alfredo is waiting.
He has survived the impossible.
Now he just needs someone to help him live the beautiful life he deserves.
