Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lincoln is a 2 year old redbone coonhound! Lincoln is the mushiest and goofiest sweetest boy. He was bought as a hunting dog and his hunting partner recently passed unexpectedly and Lincoln is ready to be a couch potato. He has NO aggressive tendencies, loves other dogs, kids and is friendly with cats and other animals. He has been around horses, sheep, pigs and chickens. He is a gentle giant.
His house skills need some touch ups but I’m sure he’ll learn quickly. He’s okay on a leash but is used to simply tagging along.
Lincoln is a mid- maintenance dog. He was born with some shoulder defects that began showing at about 1 year old. He is not on any medication. Vet doesn’t believe surgery would be helpful but thinks that it may cause him some discomfort. There is no way of knowing how/ if at all these defects will affect him as he gets older.
A couch to sleep on, and a yard to lay out in the sun would be best for him and we would love to help him find that home!
