If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Mitski is a gentle, affectionate cat with a soft and resilient personality. Before we adopted her, she had just been separated from her kittens. Even with that difficult start, she’s shown nothing but sweetness and trust. She loves being close to her humans, happily curling up beside you for cuddles and purring like she’s making up for lost time. She’s not clingy or demanding, just quietly loving in a way that feels really special.
She’s also very independent and low-maintenance. Mitski is the kind of cat who’s perfectly content lounging in a sunny spot or doing her own thing while you work, but who will also happily soak up affection when you’re ready for it.
There are no behavior issues with her — she’s calm, clean, and well-mannered — the only reason we’re rehoming is because our other cat simply doesn’t get along with her. Mitski would thrive as the only cat in a home, where she can finally be the main character she deserves to be.
