Buddy is ~4yrs, enjoys chillin, chewin on his toys and bones, snuggles and play. Has selective hearing-hears loud noice, does have a level of hearing loss. He would probably do okay with a companion with proper slow introduction. Bud is a good dog, all he needs is the right person to give him a chance by gaining their trust. He does well with reward training. He does not do well when put in a fearful position or is not given attention. He needs to get his energy out, then he enjoys to relax by laying next to his person.
All dogs have been spay/nuetered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are all rescue only or for space pulls from Hernando County Animal Services. We have provided them with basic obedience training. Most respond well to basic voice commands; sit, stay, here, lay, off, down, & bed. Exact breed is unknown as we do not DNA test. We believe none of our rescues are pure-breed dogs. Rather a combination of Hounds/Terriers/Bully breeds. They have however all been behavior tested and are available for adoption. If there are any known issues with any of our dogs we disclose at meet and greet.

We spend a significant length of time at the potential adopters home with our adoptees prior to contract signing and collect of adoption fee to make every effort possible to place our dogs in a safe healthy happy environment. We will not leave until we know the dog is comfortable with us doing so.

More about this rescue
We are a group of volunteers from our local county animal services, who pull dogs who are hard to get adopted from the shelter. We ensure all dogs are up to date on shots, spay/neutered and microchip before they come available. Currently we are a home based adoption organization. Our goal is to receive enough donations to build climate controlled kennels with dog runs to give our fosters more room to roam. We have many goalies care seniors who would benefit from such arrangements. We would like to eventually have a facility for people to visit our adoptable dogs, which would also allow for a small area for cats.
