My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella Baby appreciates some attention and petting but can get overstimulated, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.

A volunteer writes: Bella Baby blinked herself awake and thought for a few moments before explaining that she really does love pets, she just isn't always sure how to ask for them. She prefers a slower pace and has been on the lookout for someone who can meet her there. Admittedly, during our first meeting I didn't quite do that. However, I've been honored to meet Bella Baby a few times and though that first time she stayed loafed on her shelf and watched all of my attempts before graciously saying that she was just fine where she was, she was much happier to see me the next time. After some sniffs, she was leaning into my hand with her headbutting head searching for all the pets and neck scritches she could get. Bella Baby was brought to us when her previous guardian had housing issues and while we've heard that Bella Baby can take a little time to warm up to new people, she becomes her curious and outgoing self when given that chance.
