Introducing: Mittens! This beautiful girl, and her brother, Big Foot, are polydactyl, meaning that they have extra toes on each foot, and it really does look like she is wearing mittens! MIttens and Big Foot were abandoned locally, and have a special bond with each other and will be adopted together. Mittens is incredibly friendly, sweet, and LOVES to nap on or around her people. Like her brother, she gets along with every human and animal she meets, including her Foster Family Grandkids! She is spayed, and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. She is a happy kitty, and does not ask for much - a Family and Furever Home of her very own that she can share with her brother.

More about this rescue

Stray Haven provides homes, as foster space allows, for dogs and puppies. We primarily focus on pulling dogs and puppies from independent rescuers who have little resources to secure the vetting and homes that these precious babies so desperately need. Some counties in rural areas don't have access to a county run shelter or facility and these independent rescuers are breaking their backs trying to make sure that dogs aren't starving or freezing after abandonment.

In addition to taking in these dogs and puppies, our outreach continues to help independent rescuers by providing education, exposure for the animals in their care and donations when possible to support their cause.
