MY RESCUE STORY

Hi! I’m Reeve. When I was just 2 months old, instead of receiving love and care from my mama, I was chained up and neglected. Kind rescuers visited me often, bringing food and water until they were finally able to save me. Now I’m safe, loved, and ready to find my forever family who will cherish me the way I’ve always deserved!

MY HEALTH

  • All vaccinations up-to-date & heartworm negative

  • I’m a healthy girl and no known health issues

MY PERSONALITY

I’m a sweet, loving girl who adores giving kisses and playing with my toys! I crave affection and love being around people. You can easily pet me, and I get along wonderfully with all my dog friends—I’m always ready for playtime and cuddles!

MY SOCIAL SKILLS

· With People: I’m super friendly with people! I love approaching new friends with curiosity and excitement. You can easily pet me and even pick me up! Once I feel comfortable, I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly for rubs.

· With Dogs: I’m also super friendly with other dogs! I love greeting new friends and making buddies wherever I go. I get along well with dogs of all sizes and enjoy spending time with them.

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is still uncertain. When I met a cat up close last month, I got scared and ended up getting swatted on the nose! Because of that, I’ll do best in a home without cats.

ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY

I have a high energy level — I’m still a puppy, after all! I love playtime, walks, and outdoor adventures, then I’m happy to snuggle up and rest once I’ve had my fun.

TRAINING & HABITS

I may not have much leash experience yet, but I walk well and follow my handler’s lead nicely — I’m a quick learner! I rest calmly in my kennel and prefer to do my potty outdoors. Car rides still make me a little nervous, so I’ll need some comfort and reassurance to feel safe. I’m also very gentle with my food and don’t guard it against people or other dogs.

MY IDEAL HOME

I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:

  • A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment where I can settle and come out of my shell.

  • A family that enjoys indoor & outdoor activities and spending quality time together.

  • A family that can shower me with love and attention.

SPECIAL NOTES

Currently, I’m free-fed, which means my food and water bowls are always available. I’m great at managing my appetite and only eat when I’m hungry, so it’s best to continue this routine for a while in my new home. I’m very good at holding my pee and poo and prefer to potty outdoors. However, if I’m left alone for too long, I might have a small accident on my blanket.

Since I was separated from my mom at a very young age, I crave love and attention — I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by people who care for me. I love bringing my toys to play and giving lots of kisses to show my affection!

I’m considered a Level 2 rescue dog, which means I’ll need a few days to adjust to my new environment. It’s important that I always wear a martingale collar and am double-leashed during walks to keep me safe as I settle in.
