Meet Bisque!
Bisque is a young, energetic boy who’s come a long way from his days as a neighborhood stray. He’s quickly adapted to the comforts of indoor life—he’s great with his litter box, keeps his paws off the counters, and knows to use his scratching posts like a gentleman.
With his thick, plush, and oh-so-soft fur and his adorable tailless look (he was likely born that way), Bisque is as striking as he is spirited. He enjoys petting and attention, though he’s not quite a lap cat just yet. What he really loves is interactive playtime! He’s been practicing walking on a leash—he does best once you get him going, though he prefers a collar—and he’s such a smart boy that he could probably learn tricks or even an obstacle course with a little patience and consistency.
Bisque gets along well with other cats after proper introductions, though he’s still learning how to play politely and does best with confident, tolerant feline friends. Because he can get overstimulated and sometimes plays a bit rough with hands, Bisque would thrive in a cat-savvy home without small children. A household with teens who can help channel his playful energy would be ideal.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
