Meet Harvey! This super sweet and very handsome young man is 5 months old, and weighs 4 lbs. Harvey began his short life as a member of a cat colony near a homeless encampment just outside downtown Nashville. The homeless community was doing its best to take “care” of Harvey and his buddies, but the situation soon got out of control. A Nashville Spay and Neuter asked Critter Cavalry for help. Two wonderful volunteers stepped up to catch the 5 kittens they were told were there. Five quickly became 18. Miraculously, all 18 were caught and taken to the vet. Seven volunteers offered to foster them. Some of them are now ready to find their forever homes.
If you are looking for a super sweet and loving little guy with a very interesting story, then you have found him in Harvey. He will be an excellent addition to the family lucky enough to adopt him. You would never guess that Harvey lived in a homeless camp. He has been sweet and loving since the day he was trapped. He was never scared and adapted immediately to life in a home. He will be a fantastic pet. Harvey has acclimated to the resident kitties as if they had always known each other. He naturally took to the litter box, so no accidents for this guy. Harvey loves to play with his toys. He also likes to hang out and “help” his foster mom work.
Harvey will be an excellent family pet. He is neutered, current on shots, and microchipped. He gets his second shot on 11/15. He will be ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with his forever home. Please give Harvey something else to be grateful for—a FUREVER home. He will be the purrfect cat.
To be considered for Harvey’s forever family and to request an application, please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311. APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. (Harvey is still in Nashville and can be transported north upon adoption.)

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
