My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherman is a striking Plott Hound with a heart as big as his beautiful brindled coat. At around two years old and weighing about forty-five pounds, he’s a perfect medium size—easy to handle, but full of the confidence and presence that make hounds so special.

His gorgeous brindle pattern is especially noticeable on the backs of his legs, a subtle reminder of his breed’s distinctive good looks. Sherman kept his tail up the whole time he was with us, clearly proud and happy to be part of the action. He’s affectionate, outgoing, and made sure we knew he’s ready to find a home of his own.

This sweet boy is already neutered, up to date on vaccines, and gets along beautifully with both people and other dogs. He’s been spending too much time in his kennel lately, and it shows—he’s put on a few extra pounds simply because there’s not enough for him to do. What he really needs now is a family who will give him the love, exercise, and companionship he craves.

Sherman is an all-around good dog with a gentle spirit and a joyful personality. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving friend who will greet every day with enthusiasm and a wagging tail, Sherman is ready to join your life and your home.
