What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Maisie is a sweet 10-year-old Blue Heeler/German Shepherd mix I rescued five years ago from a different owner. She is house-trained, knows her commands, and LOVES to run and play. Blue Heelers require A LOT of exercise and attention. She would thrive in a home with someone with experience.
Maisie is a true Velcro dog. She loves to be by your side and will be your loyal shadow. She gets anxiety around small kids, and preferably no other dogs (cats are ok) where she can get all the love and attention she craves.
She is not a fan of crates (they give her anxiety) and prefers to have freedom and companionship. The ideal home for her would be somewhere with space to roam, a farm or large yard would make her happiest.
Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to give her the exercise and attention she deserves, so I'm hoping to find her a home where she can truly thrive. I can tell the busy schedule is really starting to affect her, and I don't want her live out her last years lonely.
