If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Turret's original owner moved away and left him abandoned. Turret is 3. He is housetrained. He has lived with little kids and does just fine with them. He has not lived with other cats or dogs, but I would guess he'd love another dog friend to play with. He's the nicest dog I've ever seen. I've never once seen him growl, bark, or do anything aggressive in any way. He's very social. He likes to play tug of war and will eagerly run after a chew toy that you throw for him and bring it back to you (though he still hasn't learned the concept of letting the toy go ha). He can be very active, but is also just as content chilling inside next to you. He has no known medical issues and is a slim/fit dog. He is also crate trained. He's always been an inside dog, but has been left outside in a fenced yard to roam during the day from time to time. He's fixed. Turret is genuinely such an amazing dog. If I was in a conducive situation to give him the home he deserves, I'd keep him in a heartbeat.
