Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Q is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. We’ve had Q since she was four weeks old, and she’s grown up alongside three energetic kids. Until last year, she lived indoors, but a change in our housing situation required her to transition to being an outdoor dog. She’s affectionate, loves belly rubs, and knows basic commands like sit, down, shake, no, and her name. Q has lived peacefully with a cat for about four years, but she does not get along well with other dogs. She’s deeply loyal to her people and tends to get jealous, putting herself between them and other dogs. She has never shown aggression; she simply barks and guards her space. She would thrive in a home with no other dogs or with someone experienced in managing jealous behavior. Due to job changes and another move, we need to find her a stable, loving home where she can get the attention she deserves. If you are interested in Q, please call or text: 812-202-2076. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.
