My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️
💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟

Meet Yookang 💛

1.) Health Condition
* Neutered.
* Microchipped, getting treatment for heartworm and anaplasma, and dental scaling completed.

2.) Rescue Story
* Yoogang was staying at the Gimje City Shelter. Its poor condition made it difficult for him to bear the shelter, combined with the rapidly cold weather. Adogs rushed to rescue Yoogang, so he wouldn't spend the winter lonely.

3.) Basic Information
* With People: Is a bit shy in the beginning, but follows and pays attention to people if given a little more time. Accepts petting nicely, but tends to avoid strong physical contact.
* With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, without caring much about them.
* With Cats: Hasn't met them yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed because he is currently living in a group at our center. If he would be adopted, training may be needed from scratch.
* Potty Training: Is currently staying at our center, so he does only outdoor potty.
* Walks: Does well without fear!
* Car Sickness: Has not shown any symptoms of motion sickness yet.
* Hasn't shown any biting behaviors.
* Rarely barks or whines.
* Likes treats so much that you can draw attention from him with them when things feel awkward at a first meeting.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
