My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Otto is an easy-going guy with a heart full of joy and a spirit made for exploring. Being blind doesn’t slow him down one bit, he navigates the world with confidence, curiosity, and a whole lot of charm.
He’s always up for an adventure, whether it's discovering new paths, investigating new smells, or just following the sound of your voice. And when the exploring is done? Otto is on the hunt for the best lap to snuggle in.
If you’re looking for a sweet, brave companion who will fill your days with love and your home with warmth, Otto might just be your perfect match.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Applications are not a commitment to adopt, they just let us know you are interested in a particular dog.

2.

Approve Application

All applications are sent to the fosters. We feel they know the dog best and are best equipped to fine the ideal home for the dog.

3.

Meet the Pet

The foster will reach out typically through text or email to set up a meet.

4.

Home Check

The home check is done by the foster or another volunteer in the area. The goal is to confirm the home is safe and the yard is secure.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

Before any dog leaves our rescue a contract must be signed.

6.

Pay Fee

The adoption donation is due proor to the dog being taken home.

7.

Take the Pet Home

Congratulations! You have adopted your companion.

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to find the RIGHT home for the dogs in our rescue. We want the dogs specific needs met. Bonded dogs are NEVER separated. Dogs that need other dog companions. ONLY dogs. Special needs dogs. High energy dogs in homes where they will get the exercise and mental stimulation needed. We also work with our trainer and she offers a free session for all adopters to help with a smooth transition.
