"Hi I'm Penny, I had an owner at one point but for reasons not understood by me I am now alone at the animal center... I really want attention and enjoy some pets on the head. I also love the treats they give me. When I first got here, I was so itchy and sore on my head. The nice vets have determined that all that scabby stuff on my head was a flea allergy! I am feeling much better since they gave me some flea prevention and I hope my new family will keep giving it to me! I am still anxious when someone wants to put me back into my kennel. I also like to be the one to control my interactions with people! I mean who can blame me... I may get upset or scared and let you know! So go slowly and do not push my boundaries! I may not be happy with small children either. Sometimes they can be too pushy. I'm fortunate to already be spayed so I can go home with you today."
