Pete is currently 5 years old. And was originally rescued from Texas.
He is a great dog, he has 2 dogs he plays with frequently. And grew up with a 4 year old child (now 9). He is good with people and other dogs especially once he gets to know them (he can be a little timid at first on occasion).
He does bark as a typical dog would. The main reason for him needing to be rehomed is that we are moving and are expecting. He has occasionally growled and got defensive when other kids were over roughhousing with my daughter. Never bit anybody but did growl and acted defensive about it. with these instances there were a lot of people running around at once so it may have been overwhelming for him.
He is awesome and comfortable with the people he knows, We would love to keep him but with a child on the way who he doesn’t know yet we do not want to risk it. And hope to find him a home.
He is house and crate trained. He currently rings the bell at the back door when he needs out
