Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bonito – Your New Personal Trainer With a PhD in Sniffing Bonito is what happens when you mix athleticism, affection, and a dash of “I really just want to be near you.” The kennel stresses him out, but the second that door opens, he’s all heart, all hustle, and ready to be your shadow. He’s strong on leash and full of energy, but don’t let the muscles fool you — for a 2-year-old he’s actually a pretty calm dude. He loves playing fetch and spends a lot of time sniffing his environment like it’s his full-time job, then circles back every few minutes to sit politely at your feet for some well-earned pets. Bonito is extremely affectionate, takes treats gently, and happily sits for them like the polite gentleman he is. He’s smart, eager, and would thrive with continued training and daily exercise to match his athletic side. In his previous home, Bonito was reported to be housetrained and crate trained. He loves car rides and is friendly with adults and children — especially fond of men. Sadly, his family had to move and couldn’t take him with them, but they shared that he was a wonderful companion. Because Bonito can be a little forward with his enthusiasm, a meet and greet with other dogs is recommended to be sure it’s a great match. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving adventure buddy who will work your legs and your heart, Bonito is ready to meet you.
