My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fiona, a stunning black domestic medium hair with striking green eyes, approximately 4 years old.

Fiona is the perfect mix of elegance and affection. She has a gentle, calm demeanour that makes her ideal for cozy evenings at home, yet her curious and playful spirit shines when she’s exploring her surroundings. Fiona loves quiet companionship and will reward her humans with loyal friendship and soft purrs.

Fiona has a diagnosed food sensitivity and is on a prescribed special diet, Go Insect (dry & canned), which avoids certain proteins. Strict adherence to her diet is essential - no non-approved treats, table scraps, or temporary changes - to prevent symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, or skin and coat issues. Consistent feeding of her approved food and regular veterinary oversight are required for her long-term health.

She would likely thrive in a home with another cat or dog companion, provided introductions are slow and gentle.

Fiona is spayed, fully vaccinated with RCCP and rabies, FIV and FeLV negative, microchipped, and on parasite prevention. Her adoption fee is $300.

To adopt Fiona, please submit an adoption application found in the drop-down menu on our website.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
