Kala’s world turned upside down when her person — her safe place - passed away. She doesn’t understand why she’s not home anymore, and you can see the question in her one gentle, soulful eye: “Where did everything I knew go?” ?
Despite her confusion, Kala’s sweetness shines through. She wants so badly to feel safe again, to curl up beside someone who will tell her she’s home and loved. Once she trusts you, she leans in with quiet gratitude — the kind that only a dog who’s known both love and loss can give.
She’s house, crate and leash trained. She may be small and senior, but her heart is huge, and she still has so much love left to give.
