DOB: 11/6/2023
Duncan was found outside, crying for help. He was in rough shape, with a torn ear and a wound on his back leg. Clearly, he was dumped. He ran up to a neighborhood lady, demanding attention. She took pity and brought him into her home, to nurse him back to health. Despite the rough time he spent outside, he is a cuddly little dude. He is the best companion anyone could ask for. He will chat with you for hours. Cuddle with you and keep you warm. He loves chin scratches, head scratches and playing with his yellow scrunchy toy. He is a great addition to any household. He is about two years old. He has beautiful yellow eyes and a smooth coat of white, black and gray. If you want a forever friend, run! Don’t walk to Colony Cats and see Duncan today! His nicknames: Little Man. Dunk the Lunk. Duncan Hines. Dunky Munky. Dunk Trunk.
Come meet me at the cage free Adoption Center!! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
