Rescued from Walmart as a young, energetic pup, Tamera was one of the lucky ones- a Helpless Hound who found her way out of the rescue system and into a home of her own.
Unfortunately, sometimes even good matches don't last forever. Through no fault of her own, Tamera has found herself back in need of a soft place to land.
She's about seven months old now, happy, healthy, and still full of that bright, curious energy that makes young hounds so irresistible. She's house trained, crate trained, and knows her basics- sit, stay, go to bed. She's playful, affectionate, and always ready to greet new people with a wag and a grin.
What she needs next is someone ready to build on that foundation- someone patient, steady, and experienced enough to guide her through the last bits of puppyhood into the confident, well-adjusted hound she's meant to be.
