Here's what the humans have to say about me:
At about 1.5 years old, Fanta is a big, gorgeous orange tabby with the heart of a teddy bear. In early May, he was rescued from a public dump site in Wrens, GA, along with nine other cats. They were originally trapped for TNR (trap, neuter, release/rescue), but once we spent time with Fanta, it became clear he was meant for indoor life.
After a couple of weeks in care, we noticed two lower teeth protruding slightly from his mouth. Our vet took X-rays and found that Fanta had previously sustained a minor jaw fracture, likely from being hit by a car that had already healed on its own. Fortunately, the injury doesn’t affect him at all. He eats with no trouble, and those quirky little teeth just add extra charm to his smile.
Over the past few months in foster care, Fanta has blossomed into an incredibly affectionate, people pleasing cat. The moment you walk through the door, he runs to greet you. If someone else is getting attention, he’ll wiggle his way through the group to make sure he gets his share too. He’s laid-back, cuddly, and loves spending time with other cats, even gets along with gentle dogs.
Fanta would make a wonderful companion for another furry family member, as well as a loving, loyal friend to his humans.
