Maybe Pepper Pig got into the salt and pepper pots, or maybe she rolled around in buckets of paint, but one thing is certain. You will not see a more unusual mix breed dog than Pepper Pig. She has black and white polka dots on half of her face, polka dot legs and enormous black ears.
Pepper Pig also has plenty of energy to go along with her sweet spirits. She weighs 32 pounds, and it is estimated she will be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when she is grown. Fun and games with dogs and children are the highlights of her day as she has plenty of puppy energy. It is not known if she enjoys cats.
Pepper Pig is working at her house and leash training. It is important to remember that rescue dogs can have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, family and routines. If crate training is planned, Pepper Pig needs a crate that is big enough for her to stand and turn around in as well as lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out and must never be used for punishment.
Black and white spots will fit in with any interior design and Pepper Pig will fit in with anyone who is ready to play with this high-spirited canine buddy.
* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability.
The adoption fee for Pepper Pig is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
