Meet Hyoni♠️
💙 Adogs Updates: @_adogs_

1⃣ Health Condition
* Spayed.
* Microchipped, heartworm negative, and undergoing treatment for anaplasmosis.

2⃣ Rescue Story
* Hyoni entered the Gimje City Shelter, with her eyebrows drawn on, as if someone was playing a funny joke on her. She caught the eye of an Adogs volunteer when she greeted people warmly with her tail wagging and her fake eyebrows. Adogs stepped in and rescued her so she wouldn’t have to spend more time at the shelter with poor living conditions.

3⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Isn’t shy at all and wags her tail for new people, and accepts pets nicely as well. When she’s confined in a space, she expresses herself, as if asking people to come closer to her.
* With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs at our center.
* With Cats: Hasn’t met them yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Isn’t confirmed since she lives communally at our center. Will need training from scratch in a home environment.
* Potty Training: Only potties outdoors at our center, so it’s unclear if she’s housebroken.
* Hygiene: Loves people so much and even shows her belly when it’s grooming time!
* Walks: Pulls on the leash a little but does well overall.
* Car Sickness: Hasn’t show signs of car sickness.
* Hasn’t ever bitten, either aggressively or defensively.
* Barking: Confined in a space, she sometimes barks to catch your attention, but it doesn’t continue for a long time.
* Likes people and treats, so she’a sociable dog!
* Is scared of loud noises.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
