My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fifer is a dashing orange and white gentleman who looks like he was born to wear a bow tie! Beneath his handsome exterior is a playful, affectionate sweetheart who knows how to make every day fun. Fifer loves shredding tissues (his favorite hobby!) and playfully wrestling with his sister, but he’s also incredibly loving and cuddly. He purrs nonstop, happily soaks up snuggles, and enjoys being held close. Brave and social, Fifer greets new cats and dogs with curiosity and confidence. With his charming mix of silliness, sweetness, and courage, Fifer is the perfect companion to fill your home with love and laughter. 🧡🎀

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
