Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Booker didn't have the best start in life, but we are determined to make the rest of it the best.
Booker loves other dogs, but MUST be dogs his size or larger... no exceptions! He is kenneled trained and housebroken. He is still a little timid of men and kids. Older kids would be best. He will go up to new people, but disengages. Shows absolutely no aggression. He is still learning that he is loves and that he deserves attention. He would like a home on the quieter side. Someone that has patience. He is fantastic with his foster mom. He is being fostered on a farm and is great with most of the animals. He is still learning that sheep are ok and not to be chases.
If you think you are the one to give this guy the life he so deserves, please submit an application. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, has been dewormed and flea treated.
All current pets MUST be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason.

Please Note: We are making changes to our Foster to Adopt process. Limited resources to follow up on pending adoptions and delays in processing payments is adding to our financial restrictions. Going forward we will collect payment when the dog is transferred to the potential new owner and will be held for an agreed upon trial time. Exceptions or extended trial times will be considered on a case by case basis and will depend upon the need or situation.

We work hard to ensure the adoption process is as successful as possible, both for you and the animal you're considering adopting. We will work with you find the very best pet for you and your family. You can begin the process by looking at our available animals. We will try and give you as much basic information as possible. The next step is to complete an adoption application using our online form. This will allow us to determine if you and the animal you've chosen might be a good fit. We will contact you with any questions we might have, answer any questions or concerns, and schedule a time for you to meet the animal you're interested in.
Our adoption fees depend on a number of factors but typically range from $45 to $75 for cats and $125 to $300 for dogs. While adoption fees don’t come close to covering all the costs of caring for the animals we bring into rescue, it does make it easier for us to continue saving others. And really, it's impossible to put a price on the love and companionship a pet can bring to our lives.

All our adoptable animals are in foster homes. For this reason, we require that all potential adopters complete an adoption application prior to meeting an animal. We want to find the very best fit, both for the animal and for the adopter!
