Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out the application attached to the animal’s profile. Once submitted, a member of our adoption team will reach out to set up the home visit. After approval is gained an appointment will be set for the foster parents to bring the animal to meet the applicant.

Go meet their pets

We set up appointments for applicants to meet our adoptable animals. We also have several adoption events a month that are listed on our Facebook page and website, and have adoptable cats at the PetSmart in Nampa!

More about this rescue

Lake Lowell Animal Rescue was founded to help all the animals abandoned at Lake Lowell in Canyon County, Idaho. We began as a rescue for cats and kittens, but quickly found that other animals including rabbits, chickens, ducks, and dogs are frequently abandoned there as well. Thanks to our devoted volunteers and foster homes we have been able save and adopt out hundreds of animals abandoned at the lake and have also been able to assist over burdened shelters.
