Jayco was found living outside. When his owners were contacted, they asked that he be placed back outside to live. We rescued him so he did not have to go back outside. He is about 8 years old, up to date on shots, and FIV/FELV negative.
PERSONALITY:
Jayco is is a very sweet and loving cat. He is very affectionate. He likes to snuggle beside his foster mom and sleeps on the bed with her. He loves belly rubs and chin scratches. He does very well with being held and enjoys smooches.
LIKES/DISLIKES/OTHER ANIMALS/CHILDREN:
Jayco loves to explore on the screened in patio. He likes looking out the window and watching birds. He can often be found on the bed nestled up under the covers. It is sooo cute! He has recently started playing with toys and loves the wand toy. He is very curious. While he can be a little shy at first, he warms up pretty quickly.
Jayco is around a dog at his foster home and has adjusted well to him. He is also with other cats. The other cats in the foster home are a little intimidated by Jayco as he is a bigger cat (around 12.5 pounds). He would do best with another confident kitty who won’t be intimidated by him while playing and learning each other’s ways of cat life. Slow introductions to other animals are best!!
***Please remember; our cats have a low thirst drive and NEED the moisture in the wet food. Since wet food is 75% moisture and dry food only 10%, that is huge for our felines. Cats need wet food daily to avoid a lot of dehydration related medical problems long term like urinary tract issues which can lead to litter box avoidance and kidney disease or obesity issues linked to diabetes..
VETTING:.
Jayco is neutered, up to date on shots and FIV/FELV negative. He has 30 day flea treatment on and has been dewormed. We also had a full senior blood panel on him which came back great!

2) We give you copies of all forms.
3) We take a photo of you and your newly adopted pet.
4) We go over pet education packets as we do with anyone who adopts from us so you have a successful adoption.
5) The adoption fee is $25.
We take any kitty back if it isn’t working out . But all kittens need time to adjust.

Furry Nation Salvation, Inc. is a foster based all-volunteer non-profit animal rescue organization located in Florida. We commit our resources throughout Volusia County and surrounding areas in finding permanent homes for abandoned, unwanted, and neglected animals. Run by dedicated volunteers, our work is a heartfelt collaboration in making a difference for the innocent animals without a voice. Our foster volunteers “one on one” care help us to determine the animals true personality to best fit them into their forever home. We also promote, practice, and work, in the area of TNR (trap, neuter, return). This method of population reduction and control for feral cats has proven to be successful and we are committed to this method. FNS strives to educate the public on the importance of spay and neutering their pets and provide locations where they are able to do so at a discounted price. We assist in transporting animals to and from veterinary clinics, and help individuals place their unwanted pet who would otherwise be dumped at an animal shelter with an uncertain future. We do so by utilizing social media and animal adoption sites and always making ourselves available with support and advice. We love what we do and together we make a difference for so many.
