Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aurora is a shy, sleepy, and playful little girl who will need a patient home. She isn’t afraid of humans, but hands can be scary at first, so she’ll do best with someone willing to let her move at her own pace.
She would love to be adopted with a sibling, though it’s not required. She would also likely get along with other kitty friends with slow and proper introductions.
Her heart can be won with time, gentleness, and her absolute favorite—Churu treats. 💗
Aurora would thrive in a calm, peaceful home with a confident feline friend who can show her that people are kind and cuddles are safe 🐾💗 With a little love, reassurance, and understanding, this sweet girl is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion 🌸💫
All CSHS kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
