Hi! My name is Polly Pocket and I am from Arkansas.
From her foster: Meet Polly Pocket, or just Pocket. She’s a 4-year-old sweetheart with all the playful, goofy energy of a puppy now that she’s done raising her own. Pocket is spunky and full of personality, but at heart she’s a true people pleaser who wants nothing more than to make her humans happy. She loves rough-and-tumble play with bigger dogs and does wonderfully with kids, though she isn’t suited for a home with cats or small dogs. Pocket can be a little vocal when adjusting to a new environment, but she’s made huge progress and now mostly speaks up when she sees big animals outside or someone approaching the door. After she’s burned off her energy, she’ll happily flop on top of you for a long, cozy nap. Pocket is loving, funny, snuggly, and ready for a home that appreciates her puppy-like spirit and her big, affectionate heart.

The Bond Between's goal is to not keep any animals at our rescue office. The majority of our animals are living in foster homes until they are adopted. Occasionally, animals are living in our rescue office that are in need of a foster home.

The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. We were founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds. Since then, we have rescued over 29,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization has grown from a rescue to a first-in-its-class animal wellbeing organization... now The Bond Between! We continue to provide safe shelter, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them build a bond with humans.
