My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Momma Gabby gave birth to 4 babies on Sept 1st inside a house with 48 other dogs.. part of the hoarding case. Gabby's skin was so bad, we had to totally shave her down to her skin.. She is healing now. Gabby also has ear infections that we can now treat since she is done nursing her babies.
Gabby is about 2yo and weighs 9lbs. Gabby is very shy at first but she settles in after a few weeks. She is in a foster home with 4 dogs and she really loves them.
We are looking for a home for Gabby with another small dog for her to continue to learn how to "dog" and also a fenced in back yard. If you are interested in adoptiong this amazing girl, please complete an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRF/Dog

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
