Bear is just over 10 years old and has lived on the farm with my husband until a farming accident in Spring of 2024. Friends have tried to home him on their farm however he got to killing their chickens. He loves kids and is super smart. Managed to unlatch my back gate to take himself to a football game one night just wanting to play with the kids. He has good protective instincts but does not do well with other male dogs but does fine with my female and shows no territorial aggression. He’s very active but is afraid of thunder and fireworks. He loves to go for rides and be with his people.
My daughter was going to take him when she moved back this spring but was not able to get a rental that would accommodate at the time. He is sweet and loving but needs someone home more than I am and with more room than I have for him to roam and play. He does have some toy/food aggression with other pups.
