My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Pancho and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I am a 9 year old, male, Jack Russell Terrier mix, who came to SB Humane in search of a loving home.

Yeah, I’ve got a little gray on my muzzle, but don’t let that fool you—I can still zoom around the yard like a pup. I’ve even made a few doggy buddies here at the shelter, and we have a blast together.
I love going for walks and then curling up on the couch for some good old-fashioned cuddle time.
If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving guy who’s got plenty of heart (and still plenty of zoomies), I might just be your new best friend.

Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed.

Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission.

Hope to see you soon!
