Meet Duchess! This sweet girl came to us after being found as a stray and taken to an overcrowded shelter. Understandably, Duchess is a bit nervous in new environments. She needs some time to warm up and build trust, but once she does, her gentle nature shines through. It's possible Duchess has spent her entire life as a stray, so everything is still a bit new to her. We're taking things one step at a time, helping her adjust to a more comfortable and secure life. Duchess is looking for a patient and understanding family who will give her the space and time she needs to blossom.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all-breed, animal rescue organization incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer-driven group with years of experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals.
We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
