Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Sheldon — our smart, quirky guy who’s still figuring out his “roommate agreement” with the world! Sheldon may be a little unsure in new situations, but once he warms up, he’s gentle, goofy, and full of personality.
He’ll do best with adopters who can offer patience, training, and plenty of love as he learns about life outside the shelter. Sheldon’s ready to trade his nervousness for snuggles — and maybe a soft spot on your couch for his experiments in relaxation!

Animals have to be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. This is covered completely by the adoption fee if the adopter uses one of our local approved vets. If the adopter wants to have the spay/neuter done by a different vet, AWOL will pay a portion of the cost. All animals leaving prior to being spayed/neutered require a deposit that will be returned to the adopter after proof of spay/neuter.
