Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arlo is a stunning husky with a soft, soulful look and a gentle heart. He’s new to the shelter and still a bit nervous in this busy environment, but you can already see the sweetness underneath. With a little patience and kindness, he’s sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion.
We don’t know much about his past, but his future is looking bright — especially with a family who understands huskies and can give him the time, structure, and affection he deserves.

Animals have to be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. This is covered completely by the adoption fee if the adopter uses one of our local approved vets. If the adopter wants to have the spay/neuter done by a different vet, AWOL will pay a portion of the cost. All animals leaving prior to being spayed/neutered require a deposit that will be returned to the adopter after proof of spay/neuter.
