Wooley is a sleek, black bundle of affection; four years old but still full of kitten-like curiosity. His fur is soft and plush, inviting endless cuddles, and he melts easily into your arms like a living, purring shadow. Lap time is critical and Wooley can never get enough! He comes to bed in the evening and purrs loudly squished in the crook of your back. In the morning he plops and rolls eagerly, purring again for endless snuggles.
He has a gentle, expressive way of communicating, often letting out tiny, endearing sounds that seem to comment on whatever you’re doing. These little cries are frequent when trying to pry him from your lap after a long cuddle. Scampering about, he enjoys solo play time and enjoys bounding from room to room—hiding around corners and doorways to attempt a surprise. He enjoys watching squirrels and birds from the window. Always close by, he watches with wide-eyed fascination as humans go about their routines, eager to be part of every activity—whether it’s cooking, typing, or simply sitting together. When someone has left the home, he waits eagerly by the door with any sound signaling their return.
Playful and tender in equal measure, he’s both your little explorer and your constant companion, a furry heartbeat that fills the home with warmth and wonder.
Wooly was rescued with dental issues and had surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.
This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
