Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bart, a 1.5-year-old staffy who has come a long way — and now he’s ready to find the person who will be his forever.
When Bart was first rescued, he was scared and withdrawn, showing the deep scars of neglect and abuse. But with patience, kindness, and gentle care, he’s learned that people can be safe — and that life can be full of good moments.
Bart is still a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his true personality shines: goofy, loyal, and full of heart. He loves playing fetch, soaking up attention, and is a quick learner who responds well to routine. He may take a little time to trust, but when he does, he gives his whole heart.
About Bart:
-1.5 years old — young, playful, and eager to please
-Gets along well with other dogs, especially females
-Prefers calm or submissive dog companions, not dominant males
-Timid at first but warms up quickly with kindness
-Listens well and thrives on consistent routine
-happiest when making his person smile
Bart is ready to begin the next chapter of his life — one filled with patience, love, and security.
Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
