Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toddsworth is a big, handsome, two-year-old brown tabby searching for a profoundly patient and understanding home.
Toddsworth came to us as a stray and is currently quite shut down and scared due to undersocialization. He is overwhelmed by the shelter environment and is looking for a quiet sanctuary where he can simply feel safe. He will tolerate some gentle pets but will need a lot of time and space to warm up to his new family and surroundings.
Toddsworth`s journey to confidence will be a slow one, measured by small victories. He will require an adopter who is comfortable letting him set the pace and who understands that success means giving him a predictable, low-stress environment. While we hope he may become a loving lap cat one day, potential adopters should be prepared for the possibility that he may continue to prefer his independence.
We have found that a little wet food can certainly brighten Toddsworth`s day, making it a great way to form a positive association! Toddsworth is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and was given a flea/tick preventative.
If you have experience with timid cats and are ready to offer a kind, quiet, and long-term commitment to helping a frightened soul open up, Toddsworth is waiting for his chance at happiness.
If you’re interested in this gorgeous dude, feel free to reach out to us at 920-733-1717, adopt@foxvalleypets.org, or stop in during our open hours!
