Meet Cookie!

This sweet little puppy came from a hoarding situation where over 30 dogs were surrendered to the Long Beach Shelter. Cookie had never seen the outside world or been socialized. He is around 4 months old and is a bit shy at first with new faces. He is playful with other dogs and adores kids. He is still working on his puppy manners such as crate and leash training. He is still working on his potty training as well but is making great strides. Cookie is sweet and cuddly and just wants to be with his people.

Submit Application

Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms

Interview

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

4.
Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
