My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dandelion: A Ray of Sunshine Seeking a Forever Home

Meet Dandelion, a sweet 6-month-old kiddo looking for a solid home to finish growing up in! He sadly came in to the shelter when his family started facing financial troubles. But this just means he is used to a home environment and is ready to jump right back into a family that can offer stability.

Like a wild flower waiting for the sun, Dandelion can be a little skittish at first. When you first meet him, he might keep his distance until he decides you are safe. However, once he feels secure and the initial jitters pass he quickly reveals his true personality!

Dandelion is an energetic and curious explorer! He loves to investigate new sights, sounds, and enrichment toys (he’s recently been enjoying stacked cups). And when the zoomies strike, watch out! He enjoys a good binky (that happy bunny jump) when he has plenty of space to run.

Dandelion can take a little time to warm up to cuddles. He’s not a big fan of being picked up but will come up to lay next to you once he feels comfortable.

Dandelion is neutered and was given a flea/tick preventative.
