What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Charlie is a loving, snuggly boy that our family adopted 4 years ago. He believes he is a lapdog and if he tries to sit on your lap then you know he truly loves you.
We had one dog when we adopted him, and they connected instantly and have been the best of friends ever since. In fact, he was a big part of helping our first pup overcome her separation anxiety. He is house-trained and does well off leash in a safe space with trusted owner. He is reactive towards other dogs, but in the sense that he gets super excited and wants to play, but it can be too much for other dogs.
The reason we are looking to rehome him is because we had another child and she is now getting to a more mobile age, unfortunately triggering unpredictable behavior in Charlie. He has nipped the hand of both of our children and we feel he would be better in a home with no children and an experienced owner. It also takes him some time to warm up to new faces. This is sad for all of us, we want the best for him.
