Rocky - SH Grey and White Tuxedo, Neutered Male.
Approximate Date of Birth is 7/1/2025.
Current on his vaccines and is current on their vaccines and
has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and
is Negative.
Rocky is missing his Right Eye, but he is very healthy and does not require any additional Vet care for the lost eye. In July of 2025 LAS took a call from a Veterinarian, about a 4 week old kitten, found at a local Vet clinic with a Ruptured eye. We took on the case, as this baby was in pain and would have faced a horrible outcome. He had surgery the same night to remove the injured eye, which was beyond saving. After a long recovery he is now ready for his forever home !! Rocky was initially fostered by a Vet Tech post surgery and then one of our LAS fosters took him in. His foster Mom writes:
"Rocky is a fun-loving kitten. He is very curious and playful. He is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. Rocky gets along with the other cats he lives with as well as dogs. He really enjoys playing
with the other cats. He has lots of toys and has become skilled at carrying them around the house. Rocky will definitely keep you on your toes but will reward you with his unconditional love."
Rocky would do well in a safe and kind home with a family that has love to give. He will need time to adjust to a new family and no small children and slow introductions to other pets. If you’d like to meet Rocky or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website: www.loveastraycat.com.

More about this rescue
Love A Stray is an all volunteer, no-kill, animal rescue organization for cats and dogs serving primarily Lorain and Cuyahoga counties in Ohio. Our mission is four-fold:
1. To decrease the pet overpopulation by employing aggressive low-cost spay/neuter programs which includes not only adoptable animals but also spay/neuter assistance programs for families who otherwise would not be able to sterilize their pet. We also alter feral cats through trap/neuter/release (TNR) programs.
2. To rescue homeless animals and, when necessary, provide medical treatment including emergency veterinary care.
3. To nurture rescue animals through innovative behavior rehabilitation, when applicable, and to place them from foster families into permanent homes.
4. To educate the public on the importance of being an advocate for animals emphasizing humane treatment and sterilization.
