My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Mary

*Age: approx 3 years old

*Current Weight: 60 lbs

*Adoption fee: $475

Mary is pure sweetness wrapped in a fluffy Great Pyrenees coat! This gentle girl has the kindest soul and the most loving personality — she’s truly one of those dogs who makes everyone she meets fall instantly in love. Mary is wonderful with other dogs, calm, and incredibly well-mannered. She carries herself with quiet grace, always polite and patient. Whether she’s lounging by your side or strolling through the yard, she’s the perfect companion. Mary does have hip dysplasia in her right hip, but she doesn’t let that stop her from living life to the fullest. She enjoys her daily walks, cozy naps, and of course, all the affection she can get. With some love and gentle care, she’ll continue to thrive. If you’re looking for a truly special dog — loyal, kind, and endlessly sweet — Mary is your girl.

More about this rescue

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
