My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We'd like to introduce you to our newest rescue, Bailey (her name may change)! We had been trying to find another rescue to take her in, but since no one stepped up, she's officially part of the Günter's Legacy family.

Bailey came to us when a young girl and her mother brought her to the rescue owner's home. Initially, we hesitated because we typically focus on adult dogs, knowing there are many rescues dedicated to puppies. However, when they mentioned taking her back to a 104°F garage, we couldn't say no. Our rescue owner recognized the puppy from a few houses down the street. The little girl explained that the previous owners no longer wanted the puppy, which is why they had let her go.

Bailey is currently at the WesternU Pet Health Center, where she is being examined by two wonderful student doctors and Dr. Ellis. She's an incredibly wiggly terrier mix, weighing about 8 pounds, and is estimated to be around 3 to 4 months old. Upon her arrival, she received a Capstar, and ticks were found today during her vet visit. She will receive all her vaccines except for rabies, as Dr. Ellis prefers to wait due to her uncertain age.

Bailey is in urgent need of an adopter, foster, or another rescue to step up for her.

If you are in or near the Pomona area and are interested in adopting or fostering this sweet girl, please visit our website and complete either the Foster or Adoption Application.

Sincerely,

Günter's Legacy Animal Rescue, Inc.

Yes, I’m going to ask again. If you could spare a couple of dollars we could really use it we were not expecting to keep Bailey.

As you can imagine, she is in need of everything, vaccinations, microchip, and a spay.
