Blueberry is a cheerful, active little parakeet who’s learning to enjoy the best parts of flock life. After losing her longtime companion, she’s ready to find a new flock to keep her company.
She spends her days exploring her cage, chirping happily in the mornings and evenings, and chatting along whenever someone’s in the room. While she’s usually quiet, she occasionally bursts into short, joyful song sessions. Blueberry is getting comfortable stepping up, being handled, and coming out of her cage. She now perches calmly with her foster before deciding to fly back on her own.
This sweet girl is also discovering how fun water can be! She enjoys a light mist shower and recently took her first brave dip in a bird bath. She’s transitioning from a seed mix to a healthier pelleted diet.
Blueberry would love a home that offers gentle interaction, a calm environment, and a new budgie friend to chirp along with. She’s a lovely, easygoing companion who brightens any day with her soft chatter and curious spirit. Adoption Fee: $15

Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.
