My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💕🐾Ralphie is such a lover boy 🐾💕

Look at that big smile 😍

Fostered in CT. Living w multiple dogs. He needs a home!!

Ralphie is a giant puppy. He thinks he is a lap dog! He will literally hug you & slurp your face. Full body plant if laying down!

This adorable 18-month old shep/hound mix is a joy — he loves most dogs, kids & his humans. He’s 80 lbs, pulls a bit on a leash, housebroken, fully vaccinated, neutered & microchipped.

Best with teens & up. He’s big & can still jump

He’s a big lover boy. He can bark at other dogs but plays with foster’s 3 dogs. In TX, he lived with Yorkies & a Golden Retriever.

Ralphie had a rough start as his owners starved him & locked him out of their property. He lay outside the gate waiting for them to let him in. 😢 A kind person took him in & asked The Golden Project for help.

More about this rescue

Cooper's Pet Rescue is a family rescue group out of Redding, CT. The name Cooper came from my beloved Black Lab who welcomes many new four legged friend's into his home. The rest of the group includes my three little boys who are always excited about a new foster to love and play with and my very patient husband who with out him I could not manage this rescue. I have been rescueing for the past two years when I discovered the overpopulation of dogs in the South and how many dogs were being euthanized, shot or even worse buried alive. I knew that I had to help and could not turn my back on all these dogs in need, so that is when I started my small rescue group. I only adopt out highly adoptable dogs that will make great family pets. We are always updating out site, so please keep looking and if there is a breed that you don't see, I can do my best to get that perfect dog for you.
