To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html

'I am looking for someone to give this sweet girl a home! She came to us in our backyard and would not leave us! She has been upstairs for about 2 months with us.

She is up to date on spay/shots/appts and I have extra food and water bowls for her. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her other than her being a girl cat (IYKYK) and I have two boys and do not want three cats. She is veryyyyyyy playful, loves to snuggle, and if you take her outside she will stay right by you and come if you call her. Has flea meds as well.

We have tried to acclimate them over the last two weeks but she seems a bit territorial over me as well as her space and our hyper toddler doesn’t help much with helping her out.

Please share!!!! She is so sweet and deserves a better home where she can play and feel calm!

Submit Application

Complete our no-obligation Adoption Application, which will be sent to our Adoption Coordinator for review.

2.
Interview

A HOM volunteer will reach out to you to discuss your application within 24-48 hours after an application has been submitted.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If approved, you sign a HOM Adoption Contract where you agree to provide a safe healthy environment & yearly wellness visits from your vet

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption Fees: Kittens up to six months $125 or 2 for $200 Kittens over six months $100 or 2 for $250 Cats one year or older $50

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, 1st vaccination, worming, and testing for FIV and Feline leukemia virus (FeLV).

House of Mews is an all-volunteer, foster based, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned stray cats and kittens in Northeast Ohio.

To prepare our fosters for their forever homes, we nurture and socialize them in safe, loving environments. Provide time to heal along with needed medical services if necessary.
